Accessibility statement

At Biyohub we believe in providing an equal, accessible service to everyone, including people with disabilities. We work to make biyohub.com usable in a convenient, independent and equal way as far as possible.

Conformance target

Accessibility adaptations on this site follow Israeli Standard IS 5568 at Level AA, which is based on the WCAG guidelines, to the extent the requirements apply to the site's services and content.

Adaptations implemented

  • Semantic structure of headings, navigation and main content, including a skip-to-content link.
  • Full keyboard navigation and operation, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images and marking of decorative images.
  • Clear labels, instructions and error messages in forms.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
  • Full support for Hebrew and right-to-left (RTL) text direction.
  • Support for zoom and for narrow screens and mobile devices.
  • Respect for the reduced-motion preference, including the ability to pause videos.

Accessibility testing

The site is tested with automated tools (axe), code review and keyboard checks, on modern browsers. We continue to test and improve the site's accessibility on an ongoing basis.

Content that is not fully accessible / known limitations

Some parts of the site, including video components or third-party content, may not yet be fully accessible, and we are working to improve them. If you encounter content that is not accessible, please contact us and we will provide an adaptation or an accessible alternative where possible.

If you encounter an accessibility issue on the site, please contact us with a description of the problem, the page URL, the action you tried to perform, and the browser, device and assistive technology used, if any. We will address it as soon as possible.
