Privacy policy

At Biyohub we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information is collected on biyohub.com, for what purposes, who it may be shared with, and how you can exercise your rights.

Information we collect

We collect information in two main ways:

  • Information you provide - when you submit the contact form you provide your name, email and/or phone number, and your message.
  • Technical information collected automatically - IP address, browser/device type and basic usage data, collected by the hosting and security infrastructure to operate and protect the site.
  • Essential cookies only - see the cookies section below.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your inquiry and manage our communication with you.
  • For internal records and tracking of inquiries.
  • For site security, abuse prevention and bot detection.
  • To comply with the law where required.

Providing information is voluntary

You are not legally required to provide information; you do so voluntarily and with your consent. However, without certain details (such as a way to reach you) we may not be able to respond to your inquiry.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your information and do not share it with third parties for marketing. We use service providers to operate the site and respond to inquiries:

  • Hosting and running the site: Railway.
  • Content delivery and security, including the Turnstile anti-bot mechanism: Cloudflare.
  • Sending email notifications about inquiries: an internal email platform (email.biyohub.com) built on Amazon SES.
  • Media file storage: Cloudflare R2.

Transfer outside Israel

Some service providers process or store data outside Israel (including in the United States and the European Union), to operate the site and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Cookies

The site uses essential and functional cookies only, needed for security and abuse prevention (for example Cloudflare and Turnstile cookies). The site does not use advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is required. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect parts of the site.

Data retention

We keep inquiries that do not become a client for up to 24 months from the inquiry or your last communication with us. Inquiries that turn into a quote, a client engagement, invoices, disputes, or accounting or legal records may be kept longer as required for business, accounting or legal purposes. You may request deletion at any time, subject to law.

Information security

We use accepted security measures, including transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS), rate limiting, server-side validation, security headers and an anti-bot mechanism. No method is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you have the right to review the information collected about you, request its correction if it is inaccurate or incomplete, and request its deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Marketing

Submitting the contact form is not consent to receive marketing. We will not send you promotional content without separate, explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Minors

The site is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect minors' data. If you become aware that a minor provided information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the last-updated date shown at the bottom.
